Fine piece of ethnic art from the Togo region of western Africa, likely mid 20thC vintage.
Hand carved Losso figure/sculpture, crafted from an unknown wood. These are traditionally very minimal and abstract, with rustic carving and used as objects of devotion as well as protection, fertility, prosperity, etc.
