The façade is arranged in a checkerboard sequence of vertical teak panels framed within a darker walnut case. The interplay of tone and grain establishes rhythm without ornament. A recessed plinth base visually anchors the form.

Professionally restored to preserve the natural depth and chatoyance of the original veneer. The finish enhances warmth while maintaining grain clarity and tonal contrast.

Originally retailed in Toronto by Alton Furniture Company during the mid-century period.
