This oil on canvas painting by Mexican-American artist Juan R. Noguez (b.1929) depicts a flower market scene with buckets of colorful blooms in the foreground and figures under an awning in the background. The composition features loose gestural brushwork with vibrant reds, yellows, and oranges in the flowers contrasted against blues, whites, and dark tones. The work is signed in the lower left corner. The painting is titled "Mercado de Flores" as noted on the reverse.
