This substantial custom dining set, crafted in Bangkok in the 1980s, blends traditional Asian design elements with a clean transitional aesthetic. Constructed from solid rosewood, the set exhibits exceptional weight, durability, and a rich natural grain that enhances its refined presence.
The round dining table measures approximately 60 inches in diameter and features a built-in rotating lazy Susan, providing both elegance and practical functionality. Eight matching chairs accompany the table, each measuring 42 inches high with generously scaled seats measuring 19 inches wide x 19 inches deep x 18 inches high, offering comfort and balanced proportions.
The set is in excellent overall condition, with a few lacquer scuffs and marks that can be refinished. Its sturdy build, graceful design, and quality hardwood craftsmanship make it a standout piece for both formal and modern interiors.
