This freestanding sculpture is a testament to the artisan's patience. The body features extensive pierced (ajouré) metalwork, where intricate floral and geometric Islamic motifs have been hand-cut completely through the brass.

The dome of the helmet showcases extensive pierced (ajouré) brass work. Every floral motif and arabesque pattern has been meticulously engraved and cut by hand, allowing light to cast dramatic shadows through the metal.
