An incredible pair of Monumental sized signed reproduction oil paintings of MichaelAngelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling in the Vatican of Erythraean Sibyl and Libysche Sibylle..
The paintings are done on stretched canvas, no glass. They have been professionally framed in a laminated black frame which has a faux marble vein design.
The paintings have a shiny almost crackle finish on them and are both signed Rueben. I am not sure of who the artist is so I am selling them as gorgeous pieces of art in their own right.
They both have a distressed style finished glaze where there are areas of wear or chips on the varnish. I'm not sure if this is from age or intentional.
They're huge statement pieces and will be the focal point of any room.
