A wonderful substantial Mid-Century Murano bowl or ashtray made by Alfredo Barbini in the 1950s-60s. Tell-tale combination of opaque white with green edged glass cased in black glass, with a wonderful controlled bubble effect known as 'a bolle' and gold leaf inclusions encased in the green. Very heavy and well made with a flat surface on the bottom.
