A vintage Italian glazed ceramic casserole dish featuring a sculptural trompe l’oeil pansy finial. The fluted white body is paired with a fitted lid crowned by hand-modeled pansy blossoms in purple, yellow, and pink, accented by green leaves.
These pieces are crafted in glazed ceramic with molded fluting along the body and matching oval underplate. The lid features dimensional, hand-applied pansy flowers (Viola) in high-gloss glaze. The form combines functional serveware with decorative Italian ceramic artistry typical of mid-20th-century export pieces.
