Very hard to find authentic Dorothy Draper Espana chests of drawers. Designed by Draper for Heritage-Henredon in the 1960s.

Features:
-Three pull out drawers
-Tapered solid brass pulls
-Iconic carved wood design
-Original black lacquer finish
-Original jewelry tray inserts in each top drawer (Rare find!)
-Protective glass tops
Most vintage versions available are not authentic. It is exceptionally rare to find two authentic chests together in this condition. (See below for what qualifies authenticity.)
The chests are unmarked (Heritage-Henredon's record for properly marking each piece in the 1960s was inconsistent).
Authenticity confirmed by the following criteria:
-Three drawers
-Three routed patterns per drawer
-Stepped and routed inset face frame
-Solid wood (non-veneer) construction
-Tapered solid brass pulls
-Back is fully finished
-Both top drawers contain original jewelry tray inserts
If chests don't match these criteria, they are not authentic mid-century Draper chests.
