The oak frame is decorated with rope trim along the edges and fitted with metal cleat handles on each side. The chart shows depth soundings, waterways, and coastal details in blue and tan tones. The tray measures 20 by 14.25 inches wide by 2 inches tall. The wood shows surface wear and the chart has some light age toning. The back is finished with a wood panel secured with screws.
