This set of eleven (11) mid 20th century signed (mostly) hand finished folio size chromolithographs by Andre Dignimont (USA, France … Read more This set of eleven (11) mid 20th century signed (mostly) hand finished folio size chromolithographs by Andre Dignimont (USA, France 1891-1965 Listed) depict Parisian scenes as well as partially nude young women. Most are signed in the plate. Printed Paris, France in 1946. Printed on one side only on fine art paper. The portfolio from which thiese images were pulled was limited to 410 copies. Great for a HUGE wall treatment or several smaller groupings. Dimensions: 11" x 15".

Andre´ Dignimont 1891-1965, was born in Paris. He studied at the College Juilly, worked for a time in London, then returned to Paris to study at Acade´mie Julian.

He was a very prolific artist and illustrator for more than four decades. His work reflects his love of provocative women, cafe life, and the environs---documenting a unique insight into the Parisian experience. (askART)
