A fanciful Swedish modern mirror by multi-disciplinary visual artist Erik Hoglund, circa late 1960’s. Features a 3-part wavy dimensional frame of pine wood with teal, green and blue sections/stripes. Signed in lower right corner of mirror and on back. A stellar example of Swedish modern design.
B. 1932; d. 1998) Erik Hoglund is a unique and legendary figure in Swedish glass design and art. Höglund's restless productivity, his determination to take on challenges, to question existing conventions and attitudes has cemented his reputation as an international pioneer in glass artistry and design.
