Burmese Kammavaca manuscript with two lacquer cover pieces and inscribed leaves for Buddhist ordination texts, circa 1880.
Long rectangular panels elaborately decorated in shwe zawa technique with intricate gilded floral scrolls, foliate motifs, and geometric borders on deep red ground over black underlayer, inscribed with sacred Pali passages in Myanmar script; characteristic of Konbaung-era monastic presentation volumes akin to Mandalay-period examples.
