This is a JR Palmenberg & Sons Floor Lamp with an Art Deco glass shade and an Art Nouveau base, almost certainly made in the mid-1920s. It has a mogul-size fixture which comes with an adapter to convert it to a standard light bulb (as pictured). It is incredibly unique and as there are no comparable lamps in the JR Palmenberg catalog.
The lamp was professionally rewired within the past month. It is in fantastic condition. The cast metal base is quite heavy.
