This vintage chest from Sweden, designed in … Read more A Swedish Gustavian style wooden chest of drawers, with newer custom painted finish. This vintage chest from Sweden, designed in typical Gustavian style, features a simple, clean design with canted front side posts adorned with fluted carving. The top is slightly overhung with front corners which mimic the angled shape beneath. The case houses three plain front drawers, each fitted with simple round bail pulls and a keyhole escutcheon at center. The chest is raised upon squared, tapered feet, with angled/canted legs at front, and straight set legs in the back. The wood has a newer/custom finish in taupe, which is complimented with a charcoal colored accent trim. This Swedish Gustavian style chest, just shy of 3 feet in width, makes a great and versatile case piece for your home! See less
