A 16-inch vintage Chinese porcelain vase featuring elaborate gilt lotus scrollwork and raised multicolor enamel accents against a white ground. The form is classic baluster with a flared rim and decorative gilt banding at the base and neck.
Heavy, well-crafted porcelain body with extensive hand-applied gilt arabesque and scrolling lotus motifs. Raised enamel details in turquoise, cobalt, celadon, and ruby tones accent the floral medallions. Interior rim also features gilt decoration. Decorative base band includes intricate patterned gilding.
