An Indiana Glass Company “Luau Lotus Flower” bowl with a 12-petal rim and bold amberina colorway. Designed in the 1960s by Wayne Husted (best known for his work with Blenko), this is a standout piece that is thick, heavy, and made to be used.
The bowl features a subtly textured surface and strong color transition: deep amber/orange concentrated at the petal tips shifting to warm yellow/gold through the lower half. At 11” wide and weighing approximately 5 lbs, it has real presence as a kitchen or dining table centerpiece. This bowl is perfect for salads, fruit, or year-round display. A few small air bubbles are present, which is normal for vintage mold-blown/pressed glass of this type.
