It’s a stunning piece that combines intricate porcelain work with elegant metal embellishments. The interior and exterior surfaces are painted with delicate blue foliage, branches and birds in a serene and intricate scene. The bronze dragonfly is a prominent feature securely mounted to one side of the bowl. The dragonfly is rendered with considerable detail, showing textured wings, a segmented body, and head. The ormolu bowl is elevated by ornate feet sculpted with decorative flourishes which beautifully complements the chinoiserie design of the porcelain.
