Pair of vintage Don Freedman half-moon decorative boxes featuring hand-carved stone veneer construction and intricate mosaic painted lids. Each lid displays a radial floral medallion design composed of warm ochre, terracotta, and green stone segments, bordered by a geometric ring of individually cut stone pieces.
The exterior is clad in vertically laid golden-toned stone veneer, creating a rich textural surface. Interiors are finished in matte black, providing contrast to the warm stone exterior.
Each box functions independently or together to form a complete circular form. Sculptural and architectural in presence, ideal for coffee table styling or displayed as statement decorative objects.
