The four sections decorated with two floral painted panels, each framed with raised molding. Each panel painted in mauve, taupe, green, pale blue and green on a bone white background with a central cartouche with heart shaped extensions. Framed in dark green ogee molding.

The surround painted burgundy with a gold trim with shaped crowns. The reverse also has framed panels of bone white with a pale green border and dark green molding. Italy, mid 20th century.
The panels are connected to each other with cotter pin hinges. A handsome and quite sturdy screen, tall enough to be an adequate room divider. This can also be mounted flat on the wall as decorative art.
