Each plate is richly detailed with Herend’s signature openwork reticulated border, adorned with hand-painted floral garlands and finished with elegant gilt accents. The intricate latticework rim enhances both lightness and refinement, while the central reserves display finely rendered avian scenes characteristic of the Rothschild Bird service — one of Herend’s most iconic and enduring patterns.
The undersides bear the blue printed Herend factory marks, along with pattern letters and shape number 8434, confirming authenticity and Mid-20th century production (1960's).
