This is an authorized reproduction of Edgar Degas’ iconic Little Dancer ballerina sculpture, produced for the Boston Museum of Fine Arts (MFA). I am not sure of the exact material it is made from, but it is very well made, structurally sound and on the heavier side. The piece is rendered in a dark bronze-toned patinated finish, the figure captures Degas’ celebrated study of youthful movement and classical ballet form.
