Intervention 13 by Splendidus
This singular work reimagines traditional Eastern iconography through a modern, maximalist lens. In this intervention, the artist strips away traditional finishes to reveal the intricate, "naked" carvings of the original golden wood.
This organic warmth is juxtaposed against a luminous, hand-applied Cobalt and Cerulean landscape. The piece is finished with a signature crushed-stone mosaic border and crowned by an ornate brass-tone dragon finial.
