Offering a large coastal vintage seagrass wall mirror, circa Late 20th Century. This beautiful Organic Modern wall mirror is made of woven seagrass mounted on a wood frame. The top portion of the seagrass frame has a subtle "serpentine" design with slight curving upwards on each end. The craftsmanship of the mirror and the professional weaving of the seagrass is reminiscent of Ralph Lauren quality furniture. It is unsigned and we cannot guarantee the manufacturer. It is quite heavy at 38 pounds. Heavy duty hooks and strong wire on verso for easing hanging. Designer/Decorator ready.
PLEASE NOTE: The mirror portion has a small bevel around its perimeter. Not very noticeable but it is there.
VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. This mirror came directly out of a Naples, FL estate and has been well taken care of over the years. No scratches, no chips, no damage to the mirror portion whatsoever. The seagrass is also in very good condition with a tight weave and just a few minor areas of slight wear....some darker seagrass strands on the left side. The new owner will be very happy about its well preserved vintage condition.
