Oval in form and raised on four sculptural feet, the vessel is richly hand painted with a continuous pastoral landscape depicting a shepherd guiding his flock through rolling countryside, accented by trees, distant architecture, and softly shaded skies rendered in delicate, nuanced tones. The interior is finished in a clean white glazed surface, ideal for use as a planter or decorative cachepot.
