Attributed to the studio Jules Pierre Mauméjean who opened a glass and mosaic studio in 1867 and whose sons later continued the business.
When seen from below, the dome forms a vibrant radial pattern, with concentric rings of warm golden amber glass framed by a central rosette and trim of cobalt blue and ruby red petals. The leaded and hand -cut pieces of this plafonnier create a subtly undulating and irregular rim and circular surface characteristic of studio‑made stained glass, which enhances its artisanal character. When lit, the fixture has a lively, jewel‑like glow.
