Hand-crafted from traditional papier-mâché, this large-scale piece features a naturalistic and finely detailed scene titled "На болоте" ("In the Marsh"). The artwork, attributed to the skilled artist M. Larina, captures two mallard ducks in mid-flight over an autumnal marshland, rendered in rich oil pigments with the classic layered depth for which Fedoskino is celebrated.
