Vintage mid century textured multi colored oil on board abstract cubist painting signed by June Hayes (Ohio/New York, 1926-2021). Signed. Wood frame.
June was born on June 18, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York and passed away on June 16, 2021. She grew up in Brooklyn, moved to Toledo with her husband and previously resided in the Cleveland area. June graduated from high school in Brooklyn and earned her Associate of Art at Bradford Jr. College. June was an avid painter and owned her own studio in Little Italy with two of her friends and later had a paint studio in Chesterland.
