The original piece of furniture could not be saved, but this richly painted front has been preserved and carefully transformed into an artistic wall object. The panel is executed in a typical folk art style, with floral decorations and bold, decorative colors. The original paint shows heavy wear and characteristic signs of age, and it is precisely these traces of use that give the object its authentic and powerful appearance. The panel has two eyelets on the back, making it easy to hang. 50 cm high, 118 cm wide, 5 cm deep. See less
