Antique French jardinière in cast iron, produced in Charleville in the late 19th century.
This decorative planter features elaborate Rococo-inspired scrollwork and floral relief detailing. The elongated oval body is supported by four integrated feet, giving the piece a balanced and elegant presence.
The underside bears the foundry mark “Charleville” along with the model number 56. The interior includes a drainage hole, confirming its original functional purpose as a planter.
The surface shows a naturally aged patina with wear consistent with age and material, enhancing its authentic character. Suitable for use as a planter or as a decorative object on a mantel, console, or in a winter garden setting.
