An original by johan henrik scheffel! the renowned swedish painter lived from 1733 to 1783 and specialized in portraiture. This portrait, painted in 1760, depicts s. B. Lund at the age of 27. She was the wife of a prominent swedish gentleman.
this oil painting on canvas measures 78 cm x 64 cm. With its beautiful and magnificent frame, the overall dimensions are 106 cm x 92 cm. The painting is signed on the back.
this painting comes from the estate of oskar petrus grundell of gävle and is a family heirloom.
it was also listed in the swedish portrait archive under number spa 1923/1355. This piece has an attribution mark,
