Rare Italian artistic ceramic plate dating back to the 1930s-1940s, signed "Italy" on the back.
The plate features a central relief decoration depicting a stylized animal, characterized by vibrant streaks in shades of yellow, brown, and blue.
The work, thanks to its decorations and similar pieces signed Avallone, is most likely attributable to this artist.
