Watercolor on cardboard. Signed and dated lower right. On the back is a scroll with the autograph inscription 'Old Square at Rouen', the date, and a further signature. The view of the square includes a corner from which a street branches off; on the left, in the background, you can see the statue dedicated to Joan of Arc, which stands in what is now the Place de la Pucelle. The work is presented in a late 19th-early 20th-century gilded frame. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
