Offered for your consideration is a vintage copper chocolate mold in the shape of a sitting lamb. There are three pieces to this mold - the front, back and the base. This piece dates from the middle of the 20th century and was made in France.
This charming mold was used for creating a large chocolate hollow figure, or even possibly a lamb shaped cake or gelatin. This mold is in excellent vintage condition. All three pieces of the mold are lined in tin. The mold is well made and it has excellent naturalistic detail. It is marked Made in France to the bottom. There is a hole in both the front and back pieces - possibly put there to hang them on the wall? - I can't say for sure. Other than that there are no dings, dents, or scratches. There is no clip, but one is not needed for display. This piece has been professionally polished. Please see all of the photos as they are an important part of the description.
