Offered is a hand blown sommerso art glass objet by Brazilian designer Jacqueline Terpins. This piece is reminiscent of the colors and pieces of iconic Murano designer Flavio Poli. Perfect as a paper weight, stunning in your art glass collection where it catches light - every angle makes it look completely different. This shape is free form and the best way to describe it is that it reminds one of a pinched dough ball in the process of being kneaded. The under surface is flat and signed by the artist. There is a small starburst where the green and blue melded during the heating/blowing process.

About the artist:
Jacqueline Terpins is a renowned Brazilian artist and designer with over 20 years of experience, specializing in minimalistic, organic, and geometric furniture and objects made from glass, wood, metal, and Corian. Based in São Paulo, she is recognized for her mastery of glass blowing and creating pieces that represent, or act as a trace of, high heat. Her work focuses on fluid, sinuous, and organic shapes derived from high-temperature manufacturing techniques.
