Robert Scott by Sally Sirkin Lewis Dining Room Chairs are a restoration project. They are offered at deep discount as a blank slate for your custom vision. We initially has this slated for restoration using Hermès scarves as upholstery as an homage to the famous set of Sally Sirkin for J. Robert Scott dining chairs owned by Elton John (sold at Christies Auction), but shifting business priorities have deprioritized this project. This set is now being offered as a wonderful candidate for custom upholstery in a new home.

Included are 8 armless chairs and two captains chairs with arms.

-The chair frames remain sturdy and tight, with no wobbling
-The cushions remain supportive and supple and are comfortable
-The leather is in need of total replacement.
-One armless chair has a broken leg. It appears to be a clean break and we believe a new lower leg could be crafted and fitted in such a manner that it would be inperceptable.
-The woven natural fibers on the backs of the chairs are in good to very good condition, with only soe minor pulling consistent with age and the material present.
-Other than the leather and the one chair with a broken leg, the chairs themselves are in good condition with only age-appropriate wear.
