Measuring a commanding 17 inches in length, this piece are prime example of the Venetian "Lattimo" (cased) technique, featuring a rich, marbled chocolate-brown exterior over a creamy ivory/beige interior.

Unique Artisan Variations:
As authentic hand-blown glass, this exhibits the beautiful individuality of the furnace.
The Craquelé Shell: The bowl features a sophisticated "crackle" texture on the exterior, adding an organic, "ice-glass" tactile quality that catches the light beautifully.

The Polished Shell: The second bowl showcases a high-gloss, smooth finish with deep marbled swirls.

Quality Indicators: The bowl feature hand-ground and polished concave pontil marks on the base—a hallmark of high-end Italian craftsmanship and a significant indicator of quality over mass-produced exports.

Condition:

Excellent vintage condition. The glass is vibrant and clear. No significant chips to the delicate "spines" on the rim (please see macro photos for detail), though minor scratches are present one of the bowl.
