A professionally crafted large scale ship model of “Dixie II”—the gold cup trophy winner of the 1908 speedboat competition. Handcrafted by the Lannan model ship company of Boston with a solid wood planked hull with brass exhaust cowls, controls, cleats, steering wheel, leather covered benches. ventilator cowl, and flagstaff with flag mounted in a mahogany display case with inlaid banding, brass frame and glass cover. No maker’s mark.
