A pair of 19th-century French faience vases from Samson, converted to table lamps. Decorated in blue and white in the Delft style, with birds surrounded by abundant bushes of flowers and butterflies. At the top, a lively frieze of lambrequins and foliage, while dashes and geometric patterns adorn the foot.
The elegant baluster form is finished by a flared piedouche, and the body is delicately fluted.
Marked underneath. A rare and elegant pair of lamps in excellent condition, with a timeless blue and white palette and exquisite decoration.
