The design is characterized by its square proportions, gently curved corners, and clean, flowing lines — hallmarks of the era’s transition toward modernism. Each table features a compartment with a hinged door, offering practical storage with a shelf inside while maintaining a sleek silhouette. The original resin and chrome handles add a subtle unique touch, beautifully complimenting the rich wood-effect finish.
The surfaces are finished using the traditional faux wood graining technique (also known as wood graining), a hand-painted decorative process popular at the time.
