Featuring a painted solid wood frame in lightly distressed antique cream white, adorned with gilt bronze star mounts and various hand painted specimen style faux marble accents, having a lacquered rectangular thick single board top in a visually striking exceptionally executed highly realistic trompe-l'œil marbleized finish, rising on tall tapering squared reeded legs. 20th century.

Overall very good original vintage condition

Strong, sturdy, stable, structurally sound. Attractive appearance, mildly distressed antiqued patina, with minor nicks, chips, dings, rubbing, scuffs, scratches, abrasions, accretions, light fading, tonal variation, discoloration especially to proper left lower apron, scattered chippy paint losses with subsequent exposed gesso, a typical wear commensurate with age and use. Nothing that detracts from the display or functionality but only adds to the sophisticated antique character, elegance and old world European charm that can only be acquired over time
