An elegant pair of tall circular ceramic vases with large handles, hand-crafted in clay by Irish artist Gabrielle.
Each vase features an image on the front and back of a ballet dancer performing a fan dance, with a small image of a fan at the neck of the vase. The multi-colored images are hand-painted in acrylics over a dark blue background.
The vases are crafted in a similar shape to a slender Ancient Etruscan “kantharos”, a deep wine cup with high handles.
