A large ceramic vase in an elegant cone shape in clay, made by Irish artist Gabrielle, featuring a Trinity Knot (Triquetra) design on the front and back. The Triquetra design is hand-painted in acrylics in white over a black background.
The Triquetra is an ancient Gaelic design featuring three interconnected, continuous arcs that form a three-cornered, triangular shape. It is one of several Gaelic “love knots”, representing the interconnectedness of life, death, and rebirth, or the three realms of land, sea, and sky. It can also represent the Christian Holy Trinity and, in modern times, eternal love, loyalty, and friendship.
