This vintage sterling silver baby rattle features a charming design with a faux coral handle, the mouthpiece is stamped GU, and it dates from the mid 20th century. The twin bulbous form rattle features nine bells and also functions as a whistle, making it a unique and functional addition to any antique or silverware collection. The Victorians believe that children wearing or holding coral would be protected by illnesses and evil. Condition: In excellent condition, please see photos for confirmation.
