This iconic Danish bread slicer was designed by Ove Larsen for Raadvad and manufactured circa 1960s. It is a rare model with warm yellow lacquer and golden letters. It is a transition model between the more curved and ornamented model from the 1930s to 1950s and the more simplified version from the 1970s to 1990s. For a collector this is a fun fact but it also a piece that brightens up the kitchen with its color. And it is in a very good vintage condition.
The bread slicer is fully functional for slicing bread, especially black bread and firm bread and is at the same time very decorative. The thickness of the slices can be adjusted.
