Sometime between 1942 and 1960 she acquired this chair. After she passed away it lived in my mother's childhood home until my grandfather had to move to a smaller living space. My mom, who also loved and appreciated antiques then inherited it. It spent years in my childhood home, well preserved and cared for. She moved it to her own apartment when she left that house. When she passed away in April; it became mine. It saddens me to let this go, for it reminds me of my mother, but I hope someone will be excited about it, this chair will fit their life and living space more so than it does mine at the moment, and take care of it as my family has.
