This is an original plein air oil landscape by me, L Haas, painted on an 9 x 12 unframed linen panel and signed. I painted this after a quiet morning in Reno, drawn to the way light and land interact across the open terrain. The scene seemed to simplify itself into bands of color and shifting shapes, so I followed those rhythms in the paint rather than focusing on exact detail.

In Abstract Reno Landscape, brushwork and tone suggest the openness of the place — muted earth tones moving into softer accents, sky and ground balanced in quiet color and gesture.
