This postmodern design features the unique use of black rubber foam in a tubular form throughout the entire frame of the chair. The removable seats (wood core) had been re-upholstered in faux sheepskin at some point. New owner can keep it as is or easily give this pair an upholstery makeover. The rubber foam on this pair is in very nice clean shape overall for its age with a few small minor cuts and cosmetic spots here and there but there are no large rips or pieces of foam missing which these chairs tend to display due to the inevitable wear and tear and aging of the rubber foam. The upholstery is not original and at some point had been changed to faux sheepskin. Since the seats are removable it would be quite easy to redo the covers although it would be perfectly fine to keep the sheepskin covers, which do show some wear. The seats are missing screws that attach them to the chair frame but even without the screws the seats are quite settled in their place and don't move around at all because of way the chair was designed and you don't really need the screws. less
