The lower base and feet show heavier wear from years of use, including rubbing and finish loss. The leather writing surface shows dryness and wear consistent with age. The key for the upper cylinder compartment is present; however, the key for the lower cabinet portion is missing. Despite these imperfections, the piece remains structurally solid and retains a rich, time-softened patina that beautifully reflects its antique character and craftsmanship. less
