Bruno Munari Seeking Comfort in an Uncomfortable Chair Poster
Dimensions: 19,6 x 30,5 in / 50 x 77,5 cm
Sold unframed
This poster gathers the complete series of Bruno Munari's photos for “Seeking comfort in an uncomfortable chair”, published on the issue no. 202 of the magazine “Domus” in 1944.
The 14 snaps are a consideration on “giving up” comfort in favor of a unique and fashionable look when designing objects. In this specific case, the object is a chair that, instead of being a comfy spot where one can wind down at the end of the day, forces us to explore new, not-so-relaxing postures!
